Batman The Brave and The Bold Season 2, Part 1 DVD Review
Batman is of course a heroic character that battles good versus evil. I thought my son would like Batman cartoons but at this age and I do know the age limit for this movie is higher than his age, I would have to say I will hold off letting him watch it. We saw a bit too many punches, kicks and whamos for my liking. He was acting wild after he watched just a bit of it. I did a Mama No-No I put in the movie for us to watch together without viewing it for myself.
As far as Batman goes it was cool. A bit more wild than I thought but hey its Batman hes a super hero and gets into some wild situations saving the world!
Synopsis: Batman wings into an exciting new era, teaming with a mighty honor roll of DC Comics Super Heroes in this action-packed series. Through the show's season two 12 Animated Adventures in this 2-Disc Collection, the Dark Knight allies with Aquaman, Plastic Man, Blue Beetle, Red Tornado, Green Arrow, Wildcat, Deadman, Bronze Tiger and Atom to take on an array of evildoers ranging from mad scientists to intergalactic crooks, from power-mad dictators to out-of-control teenagers.

Failed Assumptions
I always try not to assume things. It never ends on a good note. My husband says when you Assume something you make an A**-U-Me as in when you assume you make an a** out of you and me lol.
Well sadly last night my poor little baby cried for about 20 minutes because I assumed it was my husbands cousins son. We had a few cousins over for my son to play with and they had a mini slumber party. After all the kids passed out I went into my room to lay down. A few hours later I heard crying that was so sad. I did not think it was my son since he was out like a light when I put him in his crib. Plus it was a cry like I have never heard! I thought it was my husbands 1 year old so I just stayed in bed trying not to be a busy body about why the little guy wouldn't go back to sleep. I thought to myself they will figure it out go back to sleep.
Well apparently they thought the same thing about my son. They assumed I knew it was my Bubba and that we were tying to sleep train him to be on his room on his own. None of us wanted to tell one another how to parent so my sweet Bubba cried and cried. I got up about 15 minutes later to see if who I thought was crying needed a baba warmed up. I came down the hall way to hear the cries coming from my own son's room.
My heart sunk when I realized it was my boy! I felt horrible that I had not rescued him. Normally at night if he cries I am in there like a swift water rescue team to see what he needs. He was sitting up in his crib binkie still in his mouth crying at the top of his lungs. He whimpered like a puppy when I picked him up. It broke my heart that he was so upset. He fell asleep when all the kids were still in the living room playing so when he woke up alone in the dark I am sure he was scared. After a baba and some snuggling he was fine but oh my I was not. I felt horrible that by assuming it was "someone else kid" that my little guy had to get so upset. From now on I will not assume things when it comes to babies!

Pounce Book Review and Giveaway
As many of my readers know my son loves Cats. One of his first few words after mama and dada was kitty cat. I wanted to review this book for him. He liked it when I read it to him. Its a simple and sweet book. We did our own Pouncing after we read it. The overall story is to use your imagination to dream of bigger and better things. Only thing I would improve is the book could have been a bit longer.
Pounce is the true story of an adventurous kitten that climbs, explores, and gets into trouble. Through his strong imagination, Pounce explores deep, dark caves, climbs mountains, skates across icy glaciers, and camps out in harsh climates.
Based on actual photos of Pounce and the recollections of those who loved him, the story and its visuals create a magical setting for the little cat to explore his world and express his dreams.

Liz (me) Needs a Bathroom Makeover!
Silver handles and Gold Handles do not go together!
I am embarrassed that my bathroom needs a make over so badly. When we first move into our current home I was 5 months pregnant and had no desire to decorate. The bathroom was a very ugly toothpaste like turquoise green that I did not like. A friend of ours agreed to paint the bathroom with some blue paint he had. I was very thankful for it. It turned out to be two different blues and a very rushed job. But it was not the turquoise green anymore so I was happy.
Blue paint all over my white crown molding!
More blue paint all over the crown molding
I told myself after my son was born I would have time to paint it another color and to fix all the over paint and under painted spots. Well yeah right! As a first time mom I had no clue there would be no more free time. Its a myth!
Mix matched water handles!
Ugly light fixture and more blue paint on the crown molding
You can see on the edges the turquoise paint that was once there!
Now that I have taken a closer look at my bathroom I realize theres more than paint that needs to be fixed. I have the ugliest light fixture that needs to go bad! It even has a burnt out light that I have yet to replace due to my hate for the fixture. Its an odd bulb that I need to go to the hardware store for.
Now there's white paint on the blue paint, its a mess!
My beautiful crown molding is a mess!
The handles on the sink cupboard are gold while other handles and towel racks are a silver color. The bathtub water spout is capped off and we have a hand held sprayer for it and the knobs for hot and cold are a mix match. It works but it could be so much better! This is also our guest bathroom which at times is very embarrassing since people we love and friends see it! I am lucky to have an extra bathroom in my home, I dont want to be a complainer but oh my its in need of a makeover!
