Befudiom is a word game where teams are challenged to guess selected
idioms by acting, shouting, drawing, or spelling them out. (An idioms is
an expression consisting of a combination of words that have a
figurative meaning, like "It's raining Cats and Dogs.) The various ways
in the game of expressing
the idiom by acting, spelling, drawing or shouting. The name “Befudiom” combines the words “befuddled” and “idiom,”
alluding to the game’s root in mixed-up meanings.
We had so much fun playing Befudium! We played men against women and it was hilarious to watch. The great thing about the game was that there are four different ways to express your idiom, so if you are not too great a drawing (like me) you can always hope to act out your next clue. Even my youngest sister, the anti-game player, was laughing and having fun with it! She is a tough critic so that is saying a lot. We laughed, bantered and even had a few tears of joy at the end. I definitely recommend you get Befudiom for your next gathering!
