Each year when October arrives I am excited for Halloween. But I also am keeping my eyes out for products that "go pink" for October Breast Cancer Awareness month. I enjoy putting my money where I think it will be donated to research for a cure. Just this week I bought soup and chicken sausages since they both had the pink ribbon on them.

Placer County Breast Cancer Endowment will host the Fifth Annual HOT Pink Run to raise money for breast cancer research. This year’s family friendly run will feature a NEW 10K, 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk. The chip-timed 5K & 10K races start and finish at the Fountains in Roseville.
