Conair Infiniti Pro Flat Iron Review and Impressions Hairbrush Giveaway

I have always been someone with curly hair. All of my life this has been a problem for me, because I always wanted to be the girl with the lovely straight hair. Never say never because I have now found a way to have straighter hair.

Having a new hair style or updating your current style is a great way to feel a boost of confidence. I have recently started using the Conair Infiniti Pro Ceramic Flat Iron, and I am loving it. I have tried other flat irons before, but none of them have given me the results I have gotten with the Infinity Pro.

Here are a few of the features of this new product:

Tourmaline ceramic technology reduces frizz and flyaways and protects hair from damage.

Comes with Argan Oil for maximum conditioning and anti-frizz protection.

24-hour hold and all day humidity protection.

5 precision heat settings

15-second heat-up.

I just love how I can control the heat settings, and how quickly I can straighten my hair with ease. If you are looking for a flat iron to buy, try the Conair Infiniti Pro.

A great brush can make a big difference in how your hair looks. It needs to work great but also be gentle on wet or dry hair. The Conair Impressions Hairbrush has a soft cushion base and ball tips bristles are perfect for an easy everyday brush.

We are giving away one Conair Impressions Hairbrush to one of our readers.

Beco Baby Carrier Review and Giveaway - Road Trip

When we were planning our road trip my husband and I knew that it would be a lot of work, with 3 small children "baby wearing" is a must. We share parenting duties and only have so many hands between us both, so carrying the baby around in a baby carrier is a must for both of us. But with that said, my husband also would like to look as manly as possible while doing this task. I agreed that some carriers can be a little bit more a women's style, but not always. We were so excited when we found out Beco makes baby carriers with little cars on them, perfect for our road trip and perfectly manly for my husband. I don't know what it is, but there is just something so HOT about a man carrying around his baby one of these!

They have a wide selection of patterns and colors and you can shop by product but the Cars Espresso Gemini was perfect for this event! The Gemini is from their Spring 2012 Organic Collection. What my husband loved about our Gemini carrier is he said by the end of the long day, his back was feeling great. The support that the Gemini gave him was nice and there seemed to be no strain on his back, with 4 ways to carry your baby you can change positions to keep everyone happy. The material is so soft that our sweet baby girl seemed happy and content to hang with Dad all day. Beco's products are well made and are very durable, always great when you are investing in baby products.

Love the Cars print!!

Another product Beco carriers is the Mini. It is a mini toy or doll carrier for older siblings, and there are also many patterns to chose from. How cute and fun!!

Medication Discounts for your Pets with Walgreens Prescriptions Savings Club

Having no prescription healthcare plan can be very stressful. Finding a discount club that works for your family can be a lot of info that you might not understand. When you have pets that do not have coverage that can be stressful too. While looking online at Walgreens.com I found the Walgreens Prescription Savings Club that provides your family and your pets medication discounts. Your pets will be on the plan and can get human equivalent medications when available.

It was really easy to sign up. The Pharmacist asked me a few questions to get my info and signed me up in minutes. They explained to me about the benefits and to look online for the list of medications the plan covers and the discounts I can expect.

While at Walgreens I picked up a couple items. A birthday card, Walgreens brand honey lip balm and Dog Treats for my dog. My son has been trying to teach our dog to listen to him more. He is just a toddler but we want the dog to realize when he says down or sit that he should be listened to as well. So far with treats its working, although sometimes the dog just takes the treat and dashes into the yard.

For us the prescription discounts for our dog is important. My dog suffers from skin allergies. If I use the wrong type of laundry soap or she is out in thick grass she will sneeze and at the worst break out in hives that make her look like a big tortoise. We have worried about her at times not being able to afford the medications the vet recommended but we did have a vet tell us we can get her human allergy medication and adjust the dosage to her weight. It was a relief knowing we could find some relief for her. I did not know where to start as far as getting the dog allergy medication but when I found the Walgreens Prescription Savings Club it was informative and encouraging that we could afford medication for the dog.

My son happily feeds the treats to the dog in the back yard. She can roll in the grass and play out there all day as long as we can get her allergy meds on days its too much for her. You can sign up to the Walgreens Prescription Savings Club for your family including your pets. We paid $35 for a year. Not bad considering the amount of money we will save.

You can read my Google+ story about my shopping trip and all the sales and savings I spotted while shopping. #rxsavingsclub

Holiday Inn Express Hotels and Suites - Halfway into our stay

Our vacation is in full swing and we are currently staying at the Holiday Inn Express Hotels and Suites in Roseville California. The staff has been great and we have taken full advantage of all they have to offer here at the Holiday Inn. Here is a little bit of what we have been enjoying so far...

The boys enjoying our complimentary breakfast every morning.

Oh the cinnamon rolls are to die for, so warm and so tasty!!

Lots to choose from :)

The dining area is really large and spacious.

Along with eating, the we have enjoyed the pool. Living in Washington you rarely see an outdoor pool, so for us this is a great feature to have. The pool is a nice size and has lots of seating with shaded umbrellas. Most of the time we go out there we are the only ones, so it has been nice and private as well.

We are having a great time on the first part of our vacation thanks to Holiday Inn Express Hotels and Suites.

The First Pony Ride & Roller Coaster Ride

We recently went to the CA State Fair and had a whole day of fun! This is my sons 3rd year going and this year was awesome. He was able to enjoy the fair more than the previous years. He had his picture taken with a celebrity (more on who it was in a later post), cool costume characters like Poppy the Bear, his first pony ride and first roller coaster ride. It was so cute to see him smile so big at each new experience.

My son was thrilled to ride a pony. We asked him if he wanted to and he yelled Yes! He was smiling and revving up his horse as if trying to make it go faster. When the ride was over, he had a mini melt down about what he now talked about as "his" horse. He did not want to leave, he wanted back up the steps to the pony and was yelling "No no my horse!" He had tears welling up in his eyes but an offer to go look at pigs did convince him it was ok to leave "his" horse. He waved bye and blew a few kisses to the pony.

This was also his first all by himself roller coaster ride experience. I was a bit worried he might try to stand up while it was moving but I explained it to him about staying seated and to my surprise he listened. We recently went to Six Flags and together rode a few rides with his cousins and then with me so thankfully he was catching on to the stay seated idea. He was so cute riding in the coaster and he would wave to me as he rode by.

We had had a blast, his smiles and laughter were priceless memories. Hopefully we will be able to visit the fair again before it closes at the end of July.
