For Mother's Day I like to have treats of all sorts. I try not to have too many during the winter holidays since there are so many other rich dinners and snacks but for Mother's Day its a one day thing and its all about ME! I told my husband I want goodies and candy. So he doesnt have to cook and bake anything I told him to look online for treats. We can pick out something great and have it shipped to the house.
Gourmet Gift Baskets is a place we enjoy getting treats from. Recently we discovered they carry
Baked Goods in addition to the great gift baskets. We tried a Brownie Sampler of 6 flavors. I love brownies so I was looking forward to trying the flavors. I tend to always pick a super chocolate flavor and I have been wanting to try some new flavors. I knew I would love the Cheesecake one, it was awesome! The chocolaty ones
Belgian Chocolate Chunk and Fudge Walnut were rich and delicious. My son loved the Peanut Butter one and I liked the little bite I managed to get him to share with me. Peanut Butter and Chocolate are always a great combo. The two I was impressed the most with were the Blondies. I have only tried Blonde Brownies one or two times many years ago without much thought. But these ones oh wow were good! The Butterscotch Blonde was soooooo good! My son the chocolate hound even loved them. I had to baragin with him to share a bite of the White Chocolate Macadamia Blonde. He grabbed it and ran off with it. He could not open it so I told him Mommy will open it if she can have a bite lol. I really enjoyed the Blondies so much more than I would have thought. That is a great reason to buy a Sampler of a product since you might discover a flavor you might not have.
