Breakfast for Dinner with Tyson Bacon Breakfast Bread Bowls

In my house we eat Breakfast items more at dinner time than for breakfast. My son likes to eat a big meal at night more so than in the morning. I am more of a light breakfast eater too, except on weekends we do often have a big breakfast. We eat eggs and pancakes or biscuits with gravy and eggs for dinner all the time.

The last few months its been getting more difficult to get my son to eat eggs. I tried breakfast sandwiches but he just pulls out the eggs and wont eat it. I was thrilled when I saw that Tyson Bacon Breakfast Bread Bowls had eggs in them. Its a great combo of eggs, bacon, cheese and bread. I am a huge fan of anything in a bread bowl so I was eager to try them.

On the box it said Microwavable but since we dont have one ( I have not owned a microwave in about 10 years!) I figured I could just make them in the oven. I was surprised it did not have recommended oven instructions on the packaging. I placed them on a pan with foil and wrapped it up. They turned out great and a bit toasted, just how I like my breads and biscuits. The smell of the bacon filled the kitchen while they were cooking, it was great! #TysonBreakfast

While I waited for my Bacon Breakfast Bread Bowls to cook I stayed busy clipping coupons. When the Bread Bowls were almost done I took out my new favorite cooking item my new toaster. I have been toasting like crazy with it! My son liked waffles with his eggs and bacon and I like a bagel with cream cheese. When I make Breakfast for Dinner I usually make eggs, bacon or sausage, waffles or pancakes and for me always a bagel with cream cheese. I always serve a fruit and a glass of juice to go with it.

The Tyson Bacon Breakfast Bread Bowls were good. My son liked them a lot. He told me Yummy! The combo of bacon, cheese and eggs were something I think any kid would eat. My son can be picky but these were one thing that was perfect for him to grab and eat. He could not pick at it or take it apart so he just started to eat it. It was great to see him enjoy something with eggs in it.

The perfect Breakfast for dinner. Simple and taste great. #TysonBreakfast

I liked that the Tyson Bacon Breakfast Bread bowls were easy to heat up. No mess in the kitchen and my son could grab them and eat them. I will be having my mother in law try these too. She saw the box on the counter and asked about them. I hope soon Sam's Club will have these for a taste test so everyone can try them!

Getting him to sit down to enjoy a meal was harder than any of the meal cooking lol

Bacon, Cheese, Eggs and Bread perfect combo!

Just Another Reason I Go To Starbucks

Anyone living in Seattle knows that it is almost true that there is a Starbucks on every corner. And in the grocery store, too. Everywhere we look there is a Starbucks. I am proud of the fact that the very first Starbucks opened right here in Seattle and is still open today. We love our coffee up here, there is no doubt about it.

Seattle has a lot of different and distinctive neighborhoods. So each Starbucks can take on the flavor and vibe of that particular neighborhood. I was in the Pioneer Square neighborhood last week and popped in for a latte. Pioneer Square is a little eclectic and I like it that way. You just never know who or what you might see on the street, or in Starbucks, for that matter.

I loved this picture on the wall. I love the mellow atmosphere it creates on a cold windy day. There are long wooden tables to sit at and read the paper or chat with friends. Very relaxing.

But then again, this lady was also there. She graciously let me take her picture and it wasn't even Mardi Gras and I didn't even ask.

Today we met the Book Author Patricia Newman

Today we went to our local mall for the Easter Egg hunt and to see the Easter Bunny. He has been at our mall a lot! We did not know we would also be meeting the author Patricia Newman. She was super nice! My son was still a bit weary of the Easter Bunny but he hopped up on the lap of the book author and sat next to the bunny for a cute picture.

We did not have a chance to check out her book while we were the but I have looked online for it. Its a cute book about Trains and Transportation called Jingle the Brass.

We missed the raffle for the Easter Egg hunt due to getting there late but we still had a fun time. It was so crowded but all the kids there was fun for my son. If you have a Westfield mall near you they have family day events like this one all the time. You can read more here.

Waiting in line to see the bunny and meet the author

Donating to the Kingston Food Bank with All You Magazine and Champions for Kids

What an honor it is to be participating in the Champions for Kids and All You magazine simple service project. I have shopped at Walmart with my coupons and bought items to donate to an organization that benefits children.

I have chosen to make my donation to the Kingston Food Bank in Washington state. I have chosen this organization because no child should go hungry, and food banks play a vitally important part of any community.
My grandson went with me to shop for our donations, and here he is with a smile on his face and all ready to take our things into the food bank.

The food bank is run by Director Barb Fulton (she is the lady in the front row, on the right). Barb's parents started the food bank 55 years ago. Barb is generously devoted to continuing on the tradition of helping others in need.
These other marvelous ladies devote their time to helping out here, and helping to make sure that families can come to the food bank when they need to.

Kid's clothes, blankets and other items are always needed. Warm jackets and gloves in the winter are always welcomed and used.

Donated buckets and bunnies will help to fill Easter baskets for the children.

Thanks Champions for Kids and All You magazine! Our donations were very much appreciated and it feels so good to help others. I encourage everyone to to use coupons to help make their donation dollars go further. #AllYouCFK
Our thanks also to Barb Fulton and the Kingston Food Bank for all you do for the community.

Champions for Kids is a great way to get ideas for a Simple Service Project each month that anyone can participate in. Using coupons is a great way all year long to be able to give more and save more while helping kids in need. You can read more about Champions for Kids by visiting their website.
