Great Customer Services Makes a Company Great

I always love it when a product I enjoy is made by a company that offers great customer service. The same can also be said of a company with poor customer service and why I do not enjoy shopping there ( can I say Walmart!)

Thankfully I have more positive stories of great customer service then negative ones. I have had two really great experiences with two companies I want to share with you. I know for me sometimes if I review something or win it for free I feel like maybe I wont bring up an issue since I got it for free. But I have realized that is what companies want, feedback so they can fix problems!

Recently I had an issue with my KinderGlo so I emailed the company about it. They were so awesome about it and immediately send me a replacement light for my son. He is so cute he grabbed it and gave it a hug when I took it out of the package. He has been a bit of a mess since I had to take away his other KinderGlo. I am so glad tonight he will have his favorite light show soothing him to sleep.

The other company I had a great experience with is Milson Road. They make personalized commemorative framed gifts. I won a framed portrait gift on another mom blog and ordered one for my sons birth with a picture of him only a few days old. The commemorative portrait was wonderful. I smiled so big and almost cried tears of joy. It had a newspaper like page announcing my sons birth with personal info I had them add. It had top movies for the year, his astrological sign, political events, historical events and so much more!
Then as I was reading the historical section I gasped! On the print was a tragic event that happened on the day my son was born, it was the Jonestown suicides. I cried so much, I was so sad that my beautiful picture I planned on hanging up in honor of my son had such a sad sad event on it.
I thought to myslef this needs to be fixed even if I received it for free. After all I would be bad advertising if I told a ton of people about my bad experience.  I emailed them and they completely understood how upset I was and told me its a random selection of what appears on the page. Thankfully they fixed it and sent me a new framed commemorative framed portrait and I am a happy mom!

I would like to encourage moms to at least email a company if you are unhappy about a product or service to not only have it fixed for you but to also help the company to improve their company.

* A note to my sister---- Have you emailed about the diapers yet lol

Roundabouts Cupcake Sleeves Review and Giveaway

I love to bake! I do not really cook that often but if its cookies, cakes, or cupcakes I am all over it. It reminds me of how Rachael Ray can cook but says she can't bake. When I do bake I cannot seem to get the fancy decorations that I see in books and on other blogs. When I heard about Roundabouts Cupcake Decorations I thought I should have invented that! Thankfully another mom has and theses are great. They are very detailed in the printing and looks so real!

I was able to review the hamburger sleeves for my Valentine's event and they turned out great! I used a butterscotch frosting to get the light brown color of a bun and white sprinkles to make it look like sesame seeds. The site has a huge selection of sleeves like food items, baby shower themed, weddings, and more. Some of my favorites were of course the hamburgers, the ice cream cone, gumball machine and the popcorn tub that you can place mini marshmallows on top to make it look real. There are so many fun and cute ideas on the website.

Picture from the Roundabouts website

Sadly my husband unintentionally deleted my pictures! I was a bit upset since I felt like these were my master pieces and the coolest cupcakes I have made. But they were deleted while we were at the duck pond feeding the ducks with my son and there was no more space on the memory card. My husband flipped through the pics and deleted the cupcake pics and some other reviews I had taken pictures of.
I couldn't really be upset with anyone other than me, he didn't know they were reviews since I normally download them immediately after taking them and it was to capture sweet moments of our son.

Thankfully I still get to tell you about how great they are and give one of my lucky readers a set of their own!

Medela Breast Milk Labeling and Storage System Review and Giveaway

Medela is a popular brand of breastfeeding products. They have been supporting breastfeeding Mom's and babies for over 25 years. There are many products to choose from, and recently they set me a Medela breast milk labeling & storage system to review.

Now when I first received the box I thought, Wow they have really thought of everything haven't they? I think the labeling and storage system is not something you think you might need (at least I didn't) but when you do have the option to use something like this it really helps out. Honestly I was just sticking my breast milk in the fridge a little out of order, kind of wherever it fit amongst the cheese and yogurt. Not a good idea for a Mom who is always on the go and needs all of the organizing help she can get. What I liked about the Medela system is that it is an easy concept and is 100% reusable as well as dishwasher safe. The tray is U shaped and compact, it comes with 2 breast milk bottles and 2 labeling lids. You just twist the lid on the bottle to whatever day of the week it is and rotate them out as you use them. What I did was just take the bags of milk that I had just pumped and tucked them in the tray according to date, as you use one just slide the rest to the front. Again a simple idea and so handy.

All of Medela's baby feeding and storage bottles are BPA free. This would make a great baby shower present because a new Mom may not think about needing to store and label her breast milk. You can save your girlfriend a lot of time and energy by giving her this great system.

GIVEAWAY:
You can WIN your very own Breast Milk Labeling and Storage System from Medela on this blog. This would be great to win for yourself or a friend!

ebeanstalk.com Website Review

Toys are the one thing most kids will love as a gift. From birth to about 12 years old most fun things you will buy for your kids are toys. I know for me there are a few toys I can really remember that were special to me. Having a great place to find all the toys you need is a useful tool.
Ebeanstalk.com has tons of great toys with lots of useful navigation to make toy shopping quick and easy. Shopping online can be so much easier than dealing with crowds, limited stock issues and no one around to help with what toy is best for the child you are shopping for.

For a birthday party for my husband's cousin daughter we have been looking for toys for 3 year old girls. Since I have a son I wasn't sure if I should go the dolly route or find something more unique for her. The website made great recommendations on what to buy for her. It made it super easy to find her the perfect gift.

For my 4 year old nephew I found many learning toys that would be great for him to have. He is no longer in day care and I know he still needs the stimulation that some of their toys offer. I liked that the site bundled a few toys together by category. The Mom's Choice pack included two toys that I would love for my nephew to have. The Take Apart 4x4 Truck looks so cool. I actually seen it in a store today so I thought it was great the site offered it in a bundle pack. The Teaching Telephone is in the bundle pack as well. My little nephew always wants to talk on the phone when his mom does so this would be perfect for him!

The selection of baby gifts was very impressive. I found a lot of toys I have not seen in stores. My other nephew is 7 months old and I would love to buy him all the toys! I know for me when my son was a baby it was hard to tell people what to get him because I was a new mom and didn't really know what he needed. I like how the site says under the toy how many months the child should be to play with it. Its very useful. A few toys I really would love to get for my baby nephew are Crawl and Go Snail and the Fold and Go Deluxe Play Mat for when he is at Nana and Papas house.

Overall I really liked the easy navigation of the site. I also liked the age recommendations to make shopping for any kid much easier!

** I was not paid for this post. I may in the future have the opportunity to review an item from ebeanstalk.com
