On Top of Spaghetti Book Review

The On Top of Spaghetti book was to me an Ok book. Cute idea to make the song into a book but I did not like some of the words used in the book such as "it hit Miss Jenkins smack dab in the squash" and  "tad whacker" when referring to a pig character. It seemed a little too grown up for having won it from the Huggies Enjoy the rides rewards program, since most of the kids that use their products are under 5 years old. The illustrations were nice but I did not like the flow of the story. Nice idea just wasn't a winner to me.  I do love the original song that inspired the book, the spaghetti song.

No-Go BlogHer Blog Hop

I have heard so many great things about the BlogHer conference but I am new to the blog world and am not attending it. Finding this No-Go event was awesome!

Here are the answers to the No-Go blog hop questions:

When did you start blogging? I started my own Blog only a few months ago and am totally addicted to it.  June 11, 2010 is he offical start date. Before that I have been reading mom and coupon blogs like crazy since I first found out I was pregnant in March 2009!

Why did you start blogging? I started to blog to share my experiences with saving money, the great products I find and enjoy, great books I read, to share great contests and giveaways ( I have good luck in those!) and to meet new moms and woman from all over the world via the internet!

What is one thing you are going to do this week that is WAY cooler than going to BlogHer?
This week I am going to make the first video of my son crawling! He has been rocking back and forth so much and took a few crawls and stopped. For sure this weekend I know he will be able to go all the way across the room. I wouldn't miss seeing that for anything!

I have two favorite post on my blog. The first is the one of my son as he tastes all the rice cereals I bought him. He looks so cute in all his pics! The he doesn't like it pic cracks me up!

CrowdTap.... A new Site to Earn Money and Rewards

I recently found a great new site CrowdTap where you can earn money and points for giving your opinion and be influential in new products and companies. I love these kind of sites because I am super opinionated lol. You can even be selected to host a house party and sample new products, as well as answer polls, give opinions on ads and brainstorm with brands. This new site looks like it has some good potential to earn me some Christmas money! So far I have answered stuff about my favorite summer movie and my music listening habits.
