Last year taught me the importance of self care. In the midst of stay at home orders, the fear of the unknown and unrest in the world had me stressed beyond words. Taking the time to sit for a meditative moment with a candle lit or a relaxing bath with scented soaps saved my mental well being. I am very selective with the products I use on my body and in the environment around me. When my dear sweet friend Joanna told me of her new candle and soap business Eternal Sensations that she started with her husband was all about self care I needed to know more about it. 

The special touch to Eternal Sensations candles are the wooden wicks. These create a soothing wood crackle sound as you burn them. They are made of natural wood and give a more clean burn than traditional candles. The wax that makes up the candles is a bees wax coco creme composed of bees wax, coconut, soy and palm oils. The burn time on the candles are 35-40 hours for 6.5 oz and 40-60 hours on 12 oz.

Lavender Lady is my favorite candle made by Eternal Sensations. I always find lavender soothing. This candle also has hints of chamomile and eucalyptus that make the scent special. The Body Bar soaps by Eternal Sensations have a unique blend of donkey milk, goat milk, shea butter, African shea butter with jojoba oil, coconut oil, hemp oil and almond oil. This unique blend gives the body bars soap a nice bubbly moisturizing lather.

Flash Giveaway! Sacramento PRO Rugby 4pk Tickets April 17th #prorugby #sacramento

Rugby is one of the fastest growing youth sports leagues in Northern CA right now. I do not have much experience myself with rugby but as fan supporter of any team from Sacramento I was curious to check out what the league was about. It looks like an intense game and very exciting to watch. We were invited to attend the first game this weekend but do to my working schedule we cannot, but I am excited to say we are offering a giveaway for a 4 pack of tickets to the game at Bonney Field. This weekend on Sunday April 17th Sacramento PRO Rugby team's inaugural game against San Francisco. There are only five cities/teams in the league in this inaugural year of the new league. It is sanctioned by USA Rugby. Many of the players are boys from the local market originally who have gone on to play in college or internationally and are lucky enough to get to come back and play pro ball here at home.

BeKOOOL Fever Reducing Soft Gel Pads and Gift Pack Giveaway

Even though its March we are still in the cold and flu season. My son thankfully does not get sick too often but this year being in kindergarten the germs are everywhere. I am a huge fan of the Lord of the Rings series and now the Hobbit movies. I find it exciting to get lost in another world of wizards, elves, rings with the common human stories of survival, love and loss. Seeing it with hobbits, elves, dwarves and other make believe creatures make it a little more fun! The landscape of New Zealand where the film is made is amazingly beautiful. We saw the movie in theaters and are excited to see it again on Blu-Ray.

Its no secret I have a love for Pizza. Even so much my 5 year old seems to know since he was "interviewing" me and asked what my favorite food was, I hesitated and he said its pizza!
