My #JudyMoodySleepover Movie Party

Last weekend I hosted a Judy Moody Sleepover party to celebrate the DVD release of Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer. We had so much fun! I decorated the house, made dinner of pizza and hot dogs and dessert of ice cream. I made the kids each a goodie bag with a cool backpack, sleep mask, mood rings and lots of candy.

After we all ate dinner it was time to watch the movie. We were all very excited to see this movie, adults included! Having small children we all don't make it to the movies as often as we would like so watching a movie at home on DVD is perfect. Before the movie started I handed out the goodie bags and gave the activity booklet that came with the DVD to the oldest child that attend so she could count along the points that Judy was making in the movie. It was a cute idea to keep the kids and parent engaged.

The movie was cute. I think it is perfect for kids ages 7 to 11. It had kid friendly action such as Judy walking a log tight rope, Judy playing on the beach and many more fun activities that had points for the tally we were keeping. The party got a little wild at times, the kids were having a blast! There were balloon fights, dancing times and lots of candy being eaten. We had fun watching the kids feel like this was their night to be free and enjoy themselves. And if things were wild enough after the movie I decide to let them all have ice cream!!

I thought the movie was fun even for adults. Its sweet to see how Judy over comes her obstacles and ends up having a great summer! All the adults laughed when we saw Urkle was the school teacher. Of course our kids have no clue who he is but I thought it was funny. After the movie the kids got out their Halloween costumes they had purchased before arriving to the party. After a few hours of running around having fun the kids all got in their pjs, grabbed their pillow pets and happy nappers and fell fast asleep.

Overall we had a great time and it was a blast to host a movie party!

Kiki's Fashions Maternity Review and Giveaway

I have a love/hate relationship with maternity clothes. It seems like they are quite pricey for the short amount of time that you are actually going to wear them. I like my maternity clothes to be stylish but at a great price. I found just that at Kiki's Fashions, trendy maternity clothes for the stylish Mom. They have a ton of great short sleeve shirts, tanks, long sleeves, dresses , bottoms, and clearance for cheap maternity clothes!


For my review from the New Items section, I was sent the Brown Pink Stripped Long Sleeve Maternity Sweater. I have to say I really like the sweater on me, which is hard to say when you are feeling huge! Stripes are in, even if you are pregnant and I happen to love the colors of pink and brown together. The extra long brown sleeve are so cute and they give you extra coverage on a chilly day. I have just pulled them over my hands and still have my finger tips out. The V-neck is a little low so I just wore a tank top underneath to give me a little extra coverage. One more thing I would suggest is to by larger than you normally would, their clothes run small. I would definitely recommend Kiki's Fashion's to all of my friends for maternity clothes. They have really great prices and stylish clothes for the hip Mom in all of us.

MoBoleez Nursing Cover Review and Giveaway

I am a big fan of nursing and don't have much of an issue breastfeeding in public. But if I am breastfeeding in public, I am always covered up. I am a little bit modest in that way and figure nobody wants to see it anyways! I have a few different cover ups and they are not bad but I am always looking for a way to improve or change up anything. After talking with my girlfriend and doing some research on my own I found out that the MoBoleez Nursing Cover really stays on the babies head while you are feeding he or she. She never worries about the MoBoleez coming off or falling off, although you may have to watch out for those tricky little ones that can pull it off! My girlfriend now gives them away at baby showers and they are always a big hit! They are stylish and fun and are a great alternative to a "typical" nursing cover. Picky Sticky Review and Giveaway

Have you seen those pictures of babies where they have a 1, 2, 3... on there little onsie? They look so cute and what a great way to document how much they have grown in just one short month. I loved the idea and needed to get my hands on some! I found some from Picky Sticky and they are so cute. They come in a different variety of categories like Girls, Boys, Boys or Girls, Belly Stickers, Years of Fun, The Second Year and First Milestones. So many to choose from, it was hard to pick :)
