Nature's Path Organic Review and Giveaway

My family loves organic granola and one of our favorite holiday tastes and smells is Gingerbread. That is why we were so excited to try the "seasonal" flavor from Nature's Path of Love Crunch Gingerbread. When I poured the Love Crunch out of the bag the smell was intoxicating and divine. The taste was even better. Because the smell of gingerbread was so overwhelming, I thought that the taste might be too. The good news is it wasn't it was just right, not too overwhelming, perfect really. The boys and I had it for a snack and most of it is already gone, it did not last long around here.

Santa Is Coming To California Holiday Book Review

As a Californian I LOVE to see books that are California based. I love reading books to my son and books that I can tell him he has seen it or been there is super fun. This year my son is understanding what Santa means and about gifts for being a good boy. The book Santa is Coming to California is great! We had a great time reading it together. This can be a great gift for a kid living in or visiting California for the holidays. I am sure a child traveling would be reassured that yes Santa does find all the good kids in California!

They also have other places like Boston, Florida, Wisconsin, the Carolinas and more! These make great holiday gifts to share with your little ones. I know we will be adding this book to our holiday reading along side the Night Before Christmas and The Grinch.

We have been to the Golden Gate bridge many times. Its awesome to see in person!
Santa flew all over California!

Book Summary:

It's Christmas Eve, Have you been good? Santa's packed up all the presents and is headed your way! With the help of a certain red-nosed reindeer, Santa flies over:

  • San Francisco: Golden Gate Bridge
  • San Francisco: Transamerica Building
  • San Diego: Coronado Bridge
  • Los Angeles: Capitol Records
  • Los Angeles: Disney Concert Hall
  • Hollywood sign
  • Sacramento: State Capitol
  • Los Angeles: Griffith Observatory
  • Santa Monica Pier
  • Giant Sequoia tree
  • Yosemite: Halfdome aka El Capitan

"Ho, ho ho!" laughs Santa. "Merry Christmas, California!"

Recap of DreamWorks How to Train Your Dragon Live Spectacular

JJ so excited to be here, you can tell by the GIANT grin on his face!!

Of coarse there were plenty of souvenirs, the boys got these light up toys. The light shot out of Toothless the Dragon!

The opening scene.

No flash photography but I did get some pretty good shots. This is where Hiccup and Toothless are learning to trust each other.

JJ  and I enjoying the show.

JJ, Liam and the Hubby in awe of the flying dragons all over!!

The giant dragon in the middle of this picture was HUGE. And there is Hiccup and Toothless flying to get away.

A shot as we were leaving the Tacoma Dome.

DreamWorks How to Train Your Dragon Live Spectacular was amazing!! I really was in awe of it all as we watched this story unfold right there on the stage. Everything from the dragons, the cast, the lights, the music, the storyline, it was all just magical. Some of our favorite parts were the underwater scene, the fire shooting out of the sidelines, when Hiccup was riding Toothless as they flew, and the giant dragon they defeated!

We took all three kids ages 6rs y, 2.5 yrs and an 11 month old. I was worried that the little ones would squirm and want to get up out of their seats or be scared of all of the fire breathing dragons. But I am not kidding you, they sat the ENTIRE time watching the story unfold. There were no tears, no meltdowns or anything. We could not believe that they would sit there and take it all in, the show was really that good. At first my 2.5 year old held on tight and looked at me for reassurance but after a bit none of it scared or bothered him. He really did love the Dragons. It was a great show and if you have the chance I recommend you go and take your family. This is a great performance your family will love!
