Sleepy Fairy Organic Sleep Gown in PINK!!

If you are looking to shop Organic at a good price this Holiday season here is a list of their top sellers, they have lots of great things to chose from. Like the this 2 pack of organic baby boy body suits -

Funkoos also has some sweet sets, like this Organic Baby Bodysuit and Pant Set (Animal Stack) -

Here is a little background on Funkoos from their web site-

Our Story

In the summer of 2008, we went shopping for clothing for our newborn children and went looking specifically for clothes that were both chemical and pesticide free. The organic clothing we did find was really expensive and average quality. We thought there had to be quality, affordable organic clothing, but there wasn’t. So like many entrepreneurs, we set out to give astute parents a choice.
From the beginning, we vowed to manufacture our Funkoos brand clothing from the finest organic, chemical free-fibers. Our styles are always fun, simple, and super-friendly to young children’s sensitive skin. Our mission is singular – to manufacture our clothes in 100% fair-trade work environments, keep our clothing purely organic, and give a portion of our profits back to the planet through our many charitable causes.
We hope you and your little ones enjoy all of our clothes for years to come.

Seattle Sundries Handcrafted Soaps Review Holiday Gift Guide

I am a big believer in "buying local" and supporting small businesses whenever possible. So I was pleased to come across a company called Seattle Sundries that operates out of the very charming Ballard neighborhood. Seattle Sundries makes and sells handcrafted, all natural soaps and other personal care items. All artisan soaps are made in small batches and cut by hand with great attention to quality and detail. Every product is made using only natural oils, butters, botanicals and 100 % essential oils.

I have used both Exotic Escapade and Cowpoke Soaps and really enjoyed the lovely scents they gave off. The soap gently cleans well but without any harshness or chemicals. They also have something called Solid Lotions that are little round bars of lotion that nourish and sooth your skin. I used the Vanilla and Lavender scented lotion bar and it was out of this world. I absolutely love this combination of fragrance. Seattle Sundries offers twenty four different kinds of soap, all with charming names for each one. Who wouldn't want to try a soap called Naughty Nellie, Lavender Lover, or Gardeners' Gold?

Aromas of frankincense and myrrh

Scents of eucalyptus lemon, cedarwood and lavender with ground buckwheat

All of these items come attractively packaged in old-fashioned, sweet wrappings and tins. There are gift sets for all occasions, and private label and custom made soaps are also available. Visit their website at seattlesundries.com to see all of the products and for more information.

Made with shea butter, wheat germ oil and sweet almond oil.

You can learn more about Seattle Sundries and the owner Anne on her Facebook and Twitter pages.

Softsoap Bar Soap Review and Giveaway Holiday Gift Guide

I have sensitive skin so I am a bit picky about what bar soap I use. Normally its a plain one that has no scent. That type of soap can tend to be drying to my skin especially in the winter. I like to try new bar soaps during the winter months to hydrate my skin but also feel more festive with a light scent on my skin. I have used Softsoap in the liquid hand soap but have not tried their bar soap. Since it does not irritate my hands I thought it would be great to try on the rest of my body with a bar soap.

I tried two Softsoap Bar Soaps. The Juicy Pomegranate and Mango Infusions and Sweet Honeysuckle and Orange Peel. I liked them both they made my skin softer and the Orange Peel was my favorite. I loved the bright color of the orange and the scent was great. They would make a great stocking stuffer for a teen or adult.

Introduce your skin to deliriously sweet mango and natural extracts of ripe red pomegranate, nature's anti-oxidant rich fruit. Unwrap and unleash waves of intensely juicy scent, each time you cleanse.

The scent of sweet honeysuckle flowers splashed with tangy oranges — this is a fragrance explosion for energizing body and mind. Formulated with natural orange peel extracts for a truly citrus experience.

You can find Softsoap products at Walmart.

Another great stocking stuff for a teen or adult would be Colgate Optic White Toothpaste. I have tried this product in the past with good results. It would be great to go with all the candy and treats we all eat during the holidays. Teeth as White as Snow, is that a Holiday song yet?!

SoftLips Winter Holiday Lip Balm Review and Giveaway Holiday Gift Guide

As a big fan of SoftLips brand lip balm I am always excited when the Holiday season starts and they put out the Holiday flavors. They are a great lip balm to have in your purse, diaper bag and in my case the glove box and my dresser. I know I am a bit obsessed. I love the skinny tube it comes in. It fits right in your pocket for the winter days were the cold and wind are chapping you lips. Plus they smell awesome!

They make a perfect stocking stuffer for tweens to adults. Or as an add in gift to a gift basket. The Winter Holiday flavors are Sugar and Spice, Sugar Plumb Berry, Winter Mint and Sugar Cookie. My favorite is Sugar Cookie! More than likely its because I am sweet as sugar and love to eat cookies! The mint one is great too, very refreshing to have scent of minty fresh on your lips.

Now throughout the holiday/winter season, there will be select dual-packs (Winter Mint/Vanilla, Sugar Cookie/Raspberry, and Sugar Cookie/Cherry) available at stores such as Walmart, Target, and Rite Aid for $3.99.

You can buy the Holiday Gift pack that includes the 4 flavors plus the Vanilla Mint online at the SoftLips website. They have 99 cents shipping!

The Treats Truck Baking Book By Kim Ima Review and Giveaway Holiday Gift Guide

I am so jealous of the lucky New Yorkers that get to eat all the treats that are offered daily from Kim Ima's treats truck. Kim and her retro-chic bakery truck named Sugar, make their way through Manhattan and Brooklyn neighborhoods offering cookies, cakes, brownies, pies and more. Since we all don't live in New York City, the next best thing is Kims' new book, The Treats Truck Baking Book. This book is just adorable, the recipes are easy to follow, and would make a lovely gift for the baker on your Christmas list. But you just might end up keeping it for yourself. Unlike a lot of baking books, most of the recipes here can be made by inexperienced cooks, and still come out tasting yummy. All directions are easy to follow and most recipes don't have a long ingredients list. From Chocolate Pie to Oatmeal Jammys, there is something for everyone to bake and enjoy. I really liked the chapter on easy frostings and glazes for cakes and cupcakes.

I made the Coconut Macaroons with chocolate chips and they were so delicious. They looked like I put a lot more effort into them than I actually did, but they were so easy. I also made the Lemon Cake with Lemon Glaze, and that was a big hit with my family. Again, the recipe was not at all difficult to follow. I look forward to making more treats from The Treats Truck Baking Book in the next couple of weeks for the holidays. I would recommend this charming little book for any cook to use and enjoy.

You can purchase The Treats Truck Baking Book online at Barnes and Noble and Books A Million.
