HIT Entertainment 3 pack DVD Review and Giveaway

I am a huge fan of buying DVDs in our house. I prefer them over letting my son watch TV and seeing commercials. I like that I can pre-watch a DVD to see if it is something I want him to see as well. Plus I refuse to pay for cable call me frugal but I do not want pay to watch advertisements! I am happy to have found HIT Entertainment and the great characters they have. Of course I have my favorites, my son his and we have been discovering new ones along the way.

Timmy Time Picture Day is a really cute movie! I like the claymation type of characters (reminded me of my old pals Gumby and Pokey, who Sam nor our older brother would watch with me lol) My son watched so closely there are no words really in the Timmy movies. It was like he was making it up in his head what he knew they were saying since he does a lot of the grumbling, pointing and showing like they do.

This DVD it was picture day and there were the ordinary follies that little ones have with getting their pictures taken. It was cute and my son giggled a lot. Overall I liked the sweetness of Timmy Time. You can find Timmy's website here.  We went to the County fair last weekend and when we saw a sheep I yelled "Look its Timmy!" Another kid looked at me and smiled so I think he might have been a fan too!

Fireman Sam was a fun movie to watch. We loved this since fireman are heroes! I liked the Britishness (if thats a word lol) of it. Sam has an accent a bit and it made it fun to watch for me and I am sure my son didn't notice. I thought it was a perfect one to watch after Timmy Time since there was a sheep story in this DVD as well. The little boy stays home from school and has to watch over a sheep. They get in a bit of mischief and Fireman Sam saved the day! There are a few episodes on this DVD and the run time is 55 minutes. My son liked Sam and his fellow fireman since it is like the rescue heroes he watches on TV. Fireman Sam has his own website here.

Of course my son absolutely adored this DVD since it had three of his favorite characters, Barney, Thomas the Train and Bob the Builder! Preschool Fun included 8 adventures from the Barney, Angelina ballerina, Thomas the Train, Fireman Sam, Bob the Builder,  Rory the Race Car, and more! My son liked of course his favorites and I could tell he was excited to see different characters one after the other. Even the Angelina Ballerina wasn't as girly as I thought it would be. There are male dancers that do hip hop and play music, definitely different form the Angelina I read as a kid. It was a great DVD to have. If you have never watched any of the HIT Entertainment characters I would suggest purchasing this one for you and your kids to see what the characters are like.

Bob the Builder Dino Dig DVD Review

Can we Build It? Yes We Can! I think that is so great about the Bob the Builder shows that he is so positive and overcomes what ever obstacles that he comes across. We have contractors in our family that paint, build and are Mr. Fix Its so it makes me adore Bob even more. My son loves to dance to the theme song.

He can't read yet but he always turns a DVD over to look at! Too cute!

What I liked about this DVD is that is had dinosaurs!  We love dinos around here and it made this DVD even more fun! I like the sharing and learning with Bob the Builder and his friends. In this DVD they are building an amusement park when their digging around uncovers bones from the past. Its a really cute one. I love the soft colors of the Bob the Builder cartoons. I look forward to watching more Bob the Builder with my son when the next DVD is available. You can but this DVD at Best Buy, Walmart and Amazon.

Huggies Helps Donate Diapers to Moms

You can help Huggies with their campaign to diaper "Every Little Bottom". You can donate online, upload a pic of your little one in a Huggies diaper on their facebook wall, like pics uploaded by others to the Huggies facebook wall,  attend a diaper drive and even start your own diaper drive. There is a ton of info on this on the site here.

If you collect Huggies Rewards points you can donate some of your points on the Enjoy the Ride Rewards page. Every 2 points equals 1 diaper. I have already donated enough for 5 diapers. Its not much but every diaper counts!
