EcoMom Green Toys Blocks Review

The other day I was not feeling so well and struggling to keep my boys busy for the day. Early in the morning the delivery man came and brought us what my son calls "a special delivery". We opened the box from EcoMom and our Green Toys Blocks were inside. Let me say that my 4 year old loves to build and create so these were right up his alley. In the box there were 18 over sized and lightweight blocks in 4 different colors. I kid you not he built, crashed and rebuilt creations the rest of the day. After a while he decided that he would allow (we are learning to share with the baby around here) his little brother to share in the fun.
My 7 month old was able to pick up the lightweight blocks and loved the idea that they could play together. I really liked that they appealed to my little guy as well as my big guy; these blocks are great for all ages. They are durable and are easy to stack and unstack for little hands.

A few facts about Green Toys; they are made from 100% recycled plastic and have no BPA, PVC or phthalates. On the box it says: Green Toys products are made from 100% recycled plastic. This saves energy, reduces greenhouse gas emissions, and minimizes our carbon footprint.

I love being and feeling “green” so these are a great way to join the Earth-friendly parents out there. Green Toys are going to be played with a lot around this house for sure. We look forward to discovering more great toys by Green Toys from EcoMom.
You can purchase your very own set of Green Toy Blocks at EcoMom.com.
EcoMom has great deals and special sales all the time. If you follow them on Twitter and like them on Facebook you can find discount codes and sales info.
** I was not paid for this post. The opinions are 100% mine and may vary from others. I received one free set of blocks from EcoMom.com for this review.

Gorton's Seafood Bowl Contest
Gorton's Seafood is having another awesome contest! I am totally going to entered this one. You will need a picture of a your seafood game day creation to enter. You can enter by clicking here.
If I had a year supply of seafood I would be in heaven. As a kid I would only eat tuna out of a can, taste good to a kid yes but not ideal. I am sooooo thankful my son LOVES seafood. He will eat all the fish I give him. Lately all he will eat is Gorton's fish sticks. Which is fine by me since it is healthy for him.
The contest will be to win:
Contest ends February 11, 2011 so enter those fish pics soon!
Enter to win by uploading a photo of your Game Day Seafood dish for a chance to win!
You can get recipe ideas for your picture on the site here.
For the Super Bowl I am going to make my little guy fish tacos! I know he will love it. Then I will upload my photo to enter the contest. Or I might try the fish stick pizzas!

Be My Valentine Gourmet Gift Baskets Review and Giveaway
Be My Valentine Gift Basket
The one thing I love about Valentine's Day is all the goodies!! I remember as a kid all the great treats we would get at school. My mom always made cupcakes or cookies too. It makes sense, sweets for your sweets! As a grown up now I am way more picky about the treats I will eat. It has to be quality goodies and rich in flavors. When my Be My Valentine basket arrived from Gourmet Gift Baskets I literally jumped for joy. My husband laughed a bit and handed me the scissors to open it. I felt like a kid in my own candy store there were so many great treats in the basket. I first seen the Almond Roca, its one of my favorites so that was awesome. As I opened the basket I discovered treats I have never heard of. That is the great thing about a basket like this, the surprise treats you get that you might have not picked if you were buying them individually.
Everything tasted so fresh!
These were new to me and sooo good! My husband claimed the nut bar and me the toffee!
I LOVED the Cherry flavor of the Nutorious and the Bing Cherries were heavenly
I say forget jewelry and get your sweet heart a basket full of goodies the whole family can share. That is if you want to share!! A few other baskets I would love to have are the Toadlly Yours, with a cute stuffed frog in it and the Wild About You, with a cute stuffed monkey.

He seems to like all things raspberry!
This Dark Chocolate bar was perfect. It snapped when it broke and melted in my mouth. This one I would not share!
My favorite goodie and my son's was the Chocolate wafers! We devoured those in like 30 minutes! Normally my son isn't really all that excited about chocolate but these he tried to take the whole box from me! I have to find more of these soon.

Nu Skin Epoch Body Care Products Review
As a new mom I tend to neglect my skin more than anything. Before my son as born I took extra good care of my skin, feet and face. I would daily use a scrubbing soap, weekly do a face mask and feet therapy. That all went out the window between bottles, diapers and housework. Thankfully I had the opportunity to review the Epoch line of skin care products that are a good quality. I liked that none of the products had a strong scent.
Epoch is a line of Nu Skin products that have beneficial botanicals derived from renewable sources. I enjoyed the variety of products that were available in this line of skin care. I definitely had favorites.
The Baobab Body Butter is luxurious. It is a smooth applying body butter that has Shea Butter and fruit from the African Baobab Tree. I loved how soft this made my body feel even at the end of the day.
The Sole Solution Foot Treatment was totally what my feet needed. I put some of this product on my feet after a shower then put on some socks. I was amazed how rehydrate they were. The product contains allspice berries that Central Americans have been using to help relieve dry cracked skin on feet and toes.
The Epoch line also has baby products. I used the Epoch Baby Hibiscus Hair and Body Wash on my son. I liked the light scent and it washed his hair thoroughly. I liked the sort of foamy consistency of the wash. It made it easier to get out enough but not too much of the product. The site says that Hibiscus flower extract helps maintain and moisturize a healthy scalp. I have noticed my sons scalp a little less dry than usual after repeated uses of the wash.
You can see the full line of Nu Skin and Epoch products on their website. The site also has a very helpful glossary of terms. I think this would be helpful for not only their products but for a quick reference on any beauty products so you can look up the definition of an ingredient.
