Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope everyone has a wonderful day filled with love and laughter. I want to thank everyone who reads my blog and I hope me sharing my little part of this big world will bring you joy.

This Christmas I am so thankful to have my son and have him to share the reason for the season, Jesus!

It is never too early to teach your children about the story of the nativity and about God's love for the world. I have memories of when I was 4 years old being taught about Christianity by my kindergarten teacher. I feel she is the one who planted the seed in me that later would help me to want to be baptized.
Even at 4 years old I knew that Jesus loved me and I kept a picture that my teacher gave to me and have kept it safe for over 25 years. We moved around a lot when I was a kid but I always kept my Jesus picture safe and sound. Now I want to share with you the picture I saved.

Merry Christmas!!!

Costume Discounters Toddler Elf Costume Review

Since my son was born a little over a year ago I have had him in many costumes. Sometimes its not even a holiday and I just find a cute one for him to wear. I love the smiles he gets and the little kids that come to say "HI" to him when hes dressed up. He loves the attention, waving to people and smiling so big.
For Christmas I knew he had to have a costume that would be as cute as his Baby Santa one his Nana and Papa sent him last year. I looked at kids costumes such as Santa costumes, a snowman costume and even a cute little Christmas Tree one. I did find the perfect one I wanted at Costume Discounters. I picked the Elf costume. I knew he would be adorable in it.

The Christmas Elf Costume for Toddler has the cutest hat the has elf ears and bells on it. My son LOVED the bells. He now likes to hold the hat and shake it even when he is not in his costume. I liked that the costume is so colorful and not too thick that he can wear his clothes underneath without being uncomfortable. When I first put it on him he smiled up at me from under his elf hat and my heart melted. He looks just adorable! I know for sure the pictures I took if him in it I will be entering in some kinda of photo contest. (If you know of one please let me know I wold love to enter him).

If your in need of a costume for a Christmas pageant they have great prices on shepards, angels and more. Right now if you buy an adult Santa costume you receive a FREE wig and beard set. I know a lot of Santas could use a new costume, I have seen some tattered ones out there!

They also have great Adult costumes too. I found so many great Christmas Costumes like the Buddy the Elf costume and showed my husband but he said no lol. I am grateful to him for being a trooper as I constantly dress up our son. We both know one day he will not want to wear the costume I pick out so for now I will dress up my little boy any chance I get. We are hoping to get his pictures taken at Sears or JcPennny's with some great coupons I have.
Overall I am so happy with the costume and I cannot wait to show him off in his little outfit at the Christmas parade we are hoping to attend. I wonder if they have a Cupid outfit for Valentines! That would be awesome!

** I was not paid for this post. I was sent one elf costume to review. All review post are my honest ipnion and may vary from others.

Applied Labels Review

For the review of the labels by Applied Labels I had my nephew use them to see how they held up to a child a bit older than mine. I selected the soccer ball character for his labels since he is into soccer right now. I liked that the labels are made in the USA and are free from harmful chemicals like BPA.

With daycare and play dates his stuff is constantly mixed up with other children and he has lost a few things to the "Its Mine!" from other children. Now that he has Applied Labels on his stuff we can rest assure he can now tell the other children something is his and can point to his label. He put them to the test in his shoes, his coat and on his indoor soccer ball.

They did stay on in his shoes after applying the shoe shields on top of the labels. At first we were all a little confused as to why there were blank and clear labels, but after reading the directions it all made sense. The labels looked cute in his coat and his coat even had a spot that said This Belongs To and we stuck the label right under it.  The labels are dishwasher and laundry safe so I know in the future we will add more labels to his clothing and cups. For fun we put the label on his soccer ball that we have in the house (its a lightweight soccer ball that wont break lamps and windows).
Overall the labels held up and worked good. I do wish the labels had more color and maybe more characters to select from. They have really good deals on label packs that any parent could use for labeling their kids stuff.

If you would like to keep up on sales info and other fun stuff from Applied Labels you can follow them on twitter and be a fan on facebook.
