1st Birthday Bash 10 Days of Giveaways: Day 1

Welcome to my First Birthday Bash for my little boy! I was inspired for this event by the need to answer the question "What does a 1 year old need for the next year?" In my search for gifts for my son's 1st birthday I found many lists for newborn babies must haves but none for after the first year, so I wanted to create a list for products I feel would be great gifts for a 1 year old. For 10 days I will be hosting giveaways and reviews of products I have tested over the last few months for this event. At the end of this event I will post my top 10 gifts to buy a 1 year old. Each day will be a new catagory of reviews and giveaways.

Day 1: On The Go
Day 2: Bedtime
Day 3: Reading
Day 4: Entertain
Day 5: Feeding
Day 6: Clothing
Day 7: Playtime
Day 8: Decorating
Day 9: Bath Time
Day 10: Coupons & Freebies

Good Luck to everyone in the giveaways and thank you for being apart of my 1st Birthday Bash.

Thank you to all my Sponsor for helping me to make my list of 1st Birthday Must Haves.

Oliver's Labels Review

Now that my son is a little bigger and is often around other children I feel like I need to know more whats his and whats not. I think I am a bit of a germ a phobe I have to admit, so I loved the idea of labeling my son's stuff so I could know whether an item was his or not. Plus of course the labels are cute and very functional to keep your kids items organized.

Oliver's Labels recent sent me a sample pack of their labels that included original size labels, mini labels, shoe labels and sick-eez clothing labels. I had the choice of selecting from over 30 pattens and colors including 5 food allergy labels that I know for a child can be a lifesaver. I picked the Dinosaur labels that have 5 different dino patterns, making it fun to pick which dino goes on what items. My favorite labels are the mini ones and the shoe ones are very cute and will be very handy in the future. We put some of our labels on his favorite books and on his favorite sippy cup.

They also sell Iron-On Clothing labels, Large tags for duffel bags or diaper bags, small tags for key-chains and zippers and one time use Safety Wristbands. The safety bands are useful for field trips, big family outings or theme parks. You can have the labels printed with your child's info and your cell phone in case your child gets lost.
You can buy Oliver Labels at their website here. For sale info and updates you can follow them on Twitter and Facebook

**This post is my own opinion and may vary from other opinions. I was not paid for this post. I was provided a sample pack of labels for free to review.
[Product review & giveaway disclosure: I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. Frito Lay Fan Chip Review

Recently I had the chance to receive a gift pack from Frito Lay for being a Fritos fan. I have to say I was a little like oh this might ruin my diet, but I was happy to see Sun Chips and low sodium Potato chips! The potato chips were so good they did not survive long enough to get it in the picture! The corn chips were really great, they are the scoops. Before this I had not tried scoops, they make it a million times easier to dip in salsa! I love that Sun Chips now come in a decomposable bag, I hope all plastic packaging makes this switch.

Here are a few fun facts about Frito Lay:

·         Frito-Lay starts with fresh, farm-grown ingredients, making many of our chips with just three simple ingredients: potatoes or corn, all-natural oils and salt.
·         We were the first major food company to remove partially hydrogenated oils from our cooking oil way back in 2003. That means our chips have 0 grams trans fat because we use all-natural oils such as corn oil and sunflower oil.
·         Many varieties of our chips provide whole grains like Tostitos® snacks, which contain 8 grams of whole grain corn per serving, and SunChips®, which brings 18 grams of whole grain per serving to your diet! SunChips® are also a good source of fiber.
·         Frito-Lay supports American farmers and buys the potatoes used to make our potato chips from 80+ farms across 27 states.

You can learn more about Frito Lay by following them on Twitter.
I have always been a Sun Chips fan but now I will definitely be purchasing the Low Sodium Potato Chips! With sales and coupons I know for sure there will be great deal on Frito Lay soon.

** I was sent for free a Frito Lay fan pack with chips, a bag and water bottle to review for this post.
