No-Go BlogHer Blog Hop

I have heard so many great things about the BlogHer conference but I am new to the blog world and am not attending it. Finding this No-Go event was awesome!

Here are the answers to the No-Go blog hop questions:

When did you start blogging? I started my own Blog only a few months ago and am totally addicted to it.  June 11, 2010 is he offical start date. Before that I have been reading mom and coupon blogs like crazy since I first found out I was pregnant in March 2009!

Why did you start blogging? I started to blog to share my experiences with saving money, the great products I find and enjoy, great books I read, to share great contests and giveaways ( I have good luck in those!) and to meet new moms and woman from all over the world via the internet!

What is one thing you are going to do this week that is WAY cooler than going to BlogHer?
This week I am going to make the first video of my son crawling! He has been rocking back and forth so much and took a few crawls and stopped. For sure this weekend I know he will be able to go all the way across the room. I wouldn't miss seeing that for anything!

Share a post that you think says a lot about you or is your favorite.

I have two favorite post on my blog. The first is the one of my son as he tastes all the rice cereals I bought him. He looks so cute in all his pics! The he doesn't like it pic cracks me up!

CrowdTap.... A new Site to Earn Money and Rewards

I recently found a great new site CrowdTap where you can earn money and points for giving your opinion and be influential in new products and companies. I love these kind of sites because I am super opinionated lol. You can even be selected to host a house party and sample new products, as well as answer polls, give opinions on ads and brainstorm with brands. This new site looks like it has some good potential to earn me some Christmas money! So far I have answered stuff about my favorite summer movie and my music listening habits. My Reading Tip made it on the List for Vtech and I WON!

I had to share my excitement for winning a Vtech reader! I entered at A Mom's Balancing Act, one of my favorite blogs to read and enter giveaways, and my comment on how to encourage kids to read was posted on the list of tips and I won! I am so excited and the inspiration for my tip was the great indoor tents my mom would make us in the house to have adventures in. Here is my tip that won on the Vtech contest.

"Make reading exciting with indoor “campouts.” Use sheets and chairs to help your kids make tents, pile blankets and pillows inside, and bring snacks and a stack of books. Reading with a flashlight will add novelty to the activity."
