The Berenstain Bears and The Jesus Storybook Bible Book Review

Finding books that are for kids and have the values I am wanting to teach my son can sometimes be hard to find locally. I have found great books for him online. Recently I learned about Zonder Kidsz from another mom blogger. I love that through friends we can find great stuff for our kids. Zonder Kidz carries Christian childrens books for all ages. I found many books that I know my son would enjoy.

The Berenstain Bears Books are books grew up reading. I loved reading them and watching the cartoon on tv. They are family friendly books that help kids understand valuable lessons in life. They teach about valuing family and friendships. There is a Mama, Papa, Brother and Sister bear. One if my favorite things is they live in a big treehouse! Get Ready for Christmas would be a perfect Holiday gift for any kid and its also a flap book. Thanksgiving might be a wonderful time to give it as a gift.

As a mom I know its my job to teach my son about Christianity and Jesus. Since he is only a toddler he might not get the concepts but he does love to hear stories. My mother in law has read my son scripture and I know he had no clue what she was talking about. But he sat there and listened. He loves to be read to.
I like to find stories that teach what I want him to learn. Colorful pictures and short stories are what he understands the most.

The book The Jesus Storybook Bible is one of the greatest Christian childrens books I have read to my son. The book has a rhythmic flow that makes the stories even more vivid. Reading it out loud to him was a joy. The illustrations are beautiful and he loved asking whats this and point to everything. The book is a wonderful addition to any Christian child's library. All through the book it speaks of Gods love for mankind and Jesus. I know I will be reading this to him over and over.

Info about the book from the publishers website:
Experience all the emotion and drama as award-winning actor David Suchet’s narration brings The Jesus Storybook Bible to life. The Moonbeam Award Gold Medal Winner in the religion category, The Jesus Storybook Bible tells the story beneath all the stories in the Bible.

At the center of the story is a baby, the child upon whom everything will depend.

Every story whispers his name, from Noah to Moses to the great King David—every story points to him.

He is like the missing piece in a puzzle—the piece that makes all the other pieces fit together.

From the Old Testament through the New Testament, as the Story unfolds, children will pick up the clues and piece together the puzzle.
