Have a clean and organized home is something that makes my life easier. Being a mom I need to know where things are at in my home to make the most of my time. Nothing is a time taker than looking for lost items in a messy room. Having the right products makes cleaning and organizing your home much easier.
One room in your home that most people neglect is the garage. You garage can be a great place to use for more than a place to park the car or store boxes in. So many people use their garage as a work space, work shop, work out area and so much more. Keeping the garage clean and organized will help you utilize the full potential of your space.

This month on September 8th was National Clean Out Your Garage Day. This day reminds us to clean up the garage and make it a more functional space. The garage is one of those spaces on my to do list but I always seem to just stick stuff out there and not organize it. What can be more of a motivator than having the right items to do so.

We use our garage to store sports and lawn equipment and bikes and kids outdoor toys. There are also a handful of tools and random holiday boxes in there. I want a potting bench in ours so I can get things ready for the garden in there.

We have our cars, refrigerator and freezer in the garage. Pus there are bikes, luggage, lawn chairs, etc stored there. I would like to have a better storage system in the garage.

I use my garage sale for garage sale storage, my gift closet is in there and I am working on building a wrapping station in there and my laundry is also in there.

ReplyDeleteWe use it primarily to park the cars, as well as a place to keep our chest freezer, lawn mower, etc. There are two shelves along the back wall that are semi-organized but could use some help. Also way too much stuff lined up along the side wall that makes it hard to get in and out of the car.

ReplyDeleteOur attached garage was turned into a workshop and storage before we bought the house. So it is work benches and storage for lawn equipment and other such things.
ReplyDeleteUsually it is used to house my car, but right now it is in use as a large doghouse for 2 dogs who need shelter after being hit by a car and injured, both requiring surgery and unable to use the steps up to the porch.
