LAMO Footwear Spring Shoes Review

Working in a fashion based industry for my full time job I am always in need of new and cool items to wear to work. I keep my eye out for unique and quality items that will be eye catching and also hold up to me being on my feet for 8 hours a day. LAMO has great sheepskin winter boots (my sister has a pair she loves!)   and they also have great Spring items. I was a little surprised by the great new Spring items. I had thought of LAMO as a winter shoe company but they are so much more than that.

I love the Marina Stingray Moccasin in Aqua. Its soooooo comfotable! I have gotten many comments about how fashionable they are and what brand are they. I love being able to tell people LAMO makes them and they come in Berry and Black. Most days my feet are sore from standing for 8 hours but when I wear the Lamo shoes they are comfy. The shoe is lined with sheep wool. If you wear a little no show sock the wool inside the shoe stays nicer longer.

I felt great during and after the message, I could feel the tension leaving my body and a very calm feeling take over. As a mother being patient and calm is what it's all about. So it was great to know that my hour long session helped me to achieve relaxation, something that can be hard to get.

I loved it so much before I left I purchased an hour long massage for my husband to take advantage of the following week. Only he didn't wait, he cashed it in three days later!! He too loved the experience and we will definitely be back, maybe for a couples massage.

Imagine Toys Discovery Space Center Review and Giveaway

There are so many toys on the market to select from sometimes it can be overwhelming on what brand to pick and what types of toys to buy. My son loves make believe play. He can play for hours with his "guys" ("guys" are the action figure toys he has). He makes them fight, jump, fly, talk and dance. I have been looking for a toy that he can have as the hub of where his action heroes could play. Little girls have doll houses and little boys do not have many cool options. When I found the Hape Discovery Space Center toy online at ImagineToys.com I was thrilled to have an answer to a cool toy for my son.

My son can be rough with his toys and a few plastic toys did not survive a week in our house. The Discovery Space Center is made of wood with non toxic paint and very durable. He has pushed it over when there was a "monster alien attack" he has thrown the little space ship that launches from the top when it was blasting off and it has all stayed intact.

I love to encourage his imagination with toys like this one. He can make up little stories as to what adventures are happening. The toy is very interactive with a pulley system elevator, 3 astronauts, an alien and four levels of space center activities. We are planning a trip to a Discovery Space Center Museum locally and this is a great way to introduce the topic to my son in a fun way. He is learning and playing at the same time.

Mikarose Clothing Review and $50 Gift Certificate Giveaway - Spring Event

As a full time working Mom I need so many clothing options. I did not realize how little I had in the way of nice outfits that fit well. I was in Mommy mode of comfy pants and a tshirt for so long I forgot how great it feels to dress nice. I even try to add a little touch of nice to my day off outfits too. Finding clothing that I can wear at my job and be comfy enough to move around is my goal.

I have had items from Mikarose in the past and knew they would have some pretty and modest items I could wear to work. I like to wear skirts that are long enough that I am comfortable that aren't too short. I love the trend of the lace look that so many styles have.  The Printed Pencil Skirt  is comfy, stylish and since its a printed look I do not have to worry about delicate lace but still enjoy the look. The Double Cascade Top is a pretty color. I love the ruffles going down the middle. It gives the top a feminine soft look to it. The way the top came to a point with the fabric in the chest area was a bit uncomfortable for me but it may be that the top was too tight for me.
