Hallmark Greeting Cards are by far my favorite present to give and get for all occasions. Having a card from a loved one to look at many years after receiving can take you back to the happy moment of first reading it. Mother's Day cards are very important not just to me as a Mom but as once being the kid giving them. I know how special it made me feel to give my Mom a card and have her read it. I love getting cards from my son over the years to see him grow in the cards by what he "writes" and the type of cards he picks. I treasure them with all my heart and have a special box in my closet for them.

The Hallmark Mother's Day cards I received for my review are adorable! They included new designs from the Signature and Shoebox collections. I had a few favorites including the Giraffe and Wonder Woman cards. The giraffe card almost made me cry because giraffes are a big deal in our house. Every year for my son's birthday he gets a stuffed animal giraffe, with the size of the giraffe getting bigger each year. I love how Hallmark has so many unique options for cards. There is one out there for all the Moms you have in your life.

The Wonder Woman card is beyond cool! What Mom wouldn't love to use the "lasso of truth" on her kids or super human powers to take on all we do. I feel like sometimes I need to be Wonder Woman to function since I am a Mom, work full time and a blogger. I can't wait to see what card my son will pick out for me to open on Mother's Day.

LAMO Footwear Spring Shoes Review

Working in a fashion based industry for my full time job I am always in need of new and cool items to wear to work. I keep my eye out for unique and quality items that will be eye catching and also hold up to me being on my feet for 8 hours a day. LAMO has great sheepskin winter boots (my sister has a pair she loves!)   and they also have great Spring items. I was a little surprised by the great new Spring items. I had thought of LAMO as a winter shoe company but they are so much more than that.

I love the Marina Stingray Moccasin in Aqua. Its soooooo comfotable! I have gotten many comments about how fashionable they are and what brand are they. I love being able to tell people LAMO makes them and they come in Berry and Black. Most days my feet are sore from standing for 8 hours but when I wear the Lamo shoes they are comfy. The shoe is lined with sheep wool. If you wear a little no show sock the wool inside the shoe stays nicer longer.

See's Candies Mother's Day Review and Giveaway

See's Candies are a big deal in my house. They are not only delicious but they are filled with memories and tradition for my family. As far back as 5 years old I can remember my grandmother and Mom taking me and my siblings to See's Candies to get lollypops, chocolates and candy sticks. I felt great during and after the message, I could feel the tension leaving my body and a very calm feeling take over. As a mother being patient and calm is what it's all about. So it was great to know that my hour long session helped me to achieve relaxation, something that can be hard to get.

I loved it so much before I left I purchased an hour long massage for my husband to take advantage of the following week. Only he didn't wait, he cashed it in three days later!! He too loved the experience and we will definitely be back, maybe for a couples massage.

This is a very old picture of my mother, Ruth. She was born in 1921, and died in 1988.
I still miss her everyday. She was the kind of mother who was loving, and there for me in all ways whenever I needed her. She was the best of grandmothers to my children, and it was a huge and heartbreaking loss when she left us.

I now look at my own grandchildren and know she would have been so thrilled to see these beautiful little people that are a part of her. And she would have been a fabulous great-grandmother, too.

Kravings by Klogs Shoe Review and Giveaway - Mother's Day

Shoes are something all women love! Its the simplest way to make an outfit look put together. As a busy Mom I was stuck in the flip flop rut and I hated it. I needed a pair of shoes that I could slip on to do errands and also look great while doing it. They needed to be comfortable and not too tall. ( My son loves to still be carried and tends to be a wiggle worm so I did not want to fall over wearing too tall of shoes, yes I am klutz lol)

A good shoe especially a sandal needs to feel sturdy. Like you can run in them if you need to. Of course I do not recommend that but with a toddler it possible you might have to dash after them.

The Kravings Shoes have leather tops with a cushioned insole and shock absorbing outsole. The main thing I noticed about wearing the shoes after hours of running errands with my son is my feet still felt great. No soreness or fatigue. Awesome!

Chocolate and Mother's Day to me go hand in hand. The one day I can tell myself its totally ok to have the candy just for me! I love chocolates that have a unique look or flavor. Guylian Artisanal Belgian Chocolates are both! I love the shapes of Seahorses and Seashells that the blend of milk and white chocolates are shaped in. It was so creamy and fun to eat. The Chocolates are filled with a rich and so sweet chocolate truffle filling. They melt in your mouth when you eat them.

They are crafted in small copper pot batches in Belgium. The chocolate company was made by a husband and wife team back in 1958. The name of the company is a melding of both their first names, Guy and Liliane. How sweet is that! The Guylian website even has tips for pairing your chocolates with wine and coffee drinks. I can imagine a tasting party with these as the star.

The detail on the chocolate is amazing. They look so real. The Seahorse have a tail that curls in the opposite direction than a seahorse in nature. These fine chocolates are even stamped with a "G" on the chocolates to show that they are genuine imported Belgium Guylian Chocolates.

Of course I let my son try some of them. I wouldnt be a Mama without the sweetheart. He thought they were as amazing as I did. He said Oh Wow and asked me what each one was. He thought the Seahorses were the neatest. He even said Oh No when I took a bite out of one and told me I Broke It. The chocolates are delicious and next time I have some I plan to do as the website suggested and melt one into a cup of hot coffee and add whipped cream. Sounds soooooo good!
