Celebrate Mickey's 90th Birthday with Disney On Ice Sacramento Nov. 1-4 #disneyonice #hosted

*We were #hosted for Disney on Ice 100 Years of Magic Mickey's 90th Birthday Celebration #disneyonice #sacramento

Disney On Ice is in Sacramento!! We are huge Disney fans in my home and any chance to see Mickey and his friends we are there. We attended opening night of Disney on Ice at the Golden 1 Center. The show was awesome! I promised my son that it would be more than just princesses and Mickey would be there. Thankfully Disney included Toy Story, Aladdin, Lion King and Mickey celebrating his 90th Birthday.

My son has a favorite treat he likes to get anytime we attend a event or festival that has treats, it is a snow cone! He loves the ice and the cool cups they come in. My cupboards are full of cups from all the events we go to. Is $15 a deal on a snow cone, well no BUT does his little face light up and he gets at least hydration from his treat YES. It had the cutest OLAF cup and I do love Olaf too. We both cheered so loud when Olaf came on the ice and sang his "Summer" song.

I had so many favorite parts it hard to pick just one! The theme of the show was great as it was Mickey and Minnie talking about celebrating Mickey's 90th birthday. The show was about how they love their friends and all the memories created from the stories that were told. The opening scene of the Mickey band in the yellow and red outfits was fabulous.

I do love all the princesses of Disney. My son laughed and was annoyed by me while I sung to him the Beauty and the Beast songs and the Frozen songs. We giggled as he tried to hide from my singing. I really do love that Disney can bring back childhood memories for the older generations all while creating new memories for the new. The crowd went wild when Rafiki from the Lion King came on the ice. The family in front of us held their baby in the air like he was baby Simba, so cute!! Mulan had amazing ice skating skills in her performance, she was gliding and twirling all over the ice. My absolute FAVORITE was Beauty and the Beast since it is my favorite princess from Disney. I was thrilled to see Aladdin and the Genie performing "Friend Like Me" and look forward to the live action Aladdin coming to theaters in 2019.
